I have been able to find ska bands in almost every language except Japanese. Does anyone know any bands?
PS- I know this is a type of music a lot of you have not heard of sooo... go see the wiki. www.wikipedia.org/wiki/ska |

It'd be pretty funny to see a Japanese ska band. I can envision it now. Japanese lyrics to the Keasby Nights tune. Hell, they'd be even funnier singing in Engrish.

One band that comes to mind is Pe'Z. They're a wicked fun band to listen to. One of their songs can be found on the recent SXSW festival website (Let's Work).

I know there was one called Gerugugu, but there English was horrible. I wouldn't rightly know if Potshot falls under the category, but they sure do play like it.

Sorry, but I don't know that many ska songs. To tell the truth, I hate ska. All of my friends listen to it, and they even converted my brother to the dark side of music (ska). I try to stay away from ska as much as I can. Therefore, the only song I'm really familiar with is Keasby Nights, because even people who don't like ska, such as myself, will find themselves humming the tune, whether they like it or not. DAMN YOU, SKA!!! |

I don't know if they're still together, but there was a band called Shakalabbits that I remember being really good. Plus, the name is just fun to say! I thought so anyway...
