Man, even as a fan of her stuff in general, I am not even remotely excited about this. I feel like the Romantica plot should have ended three or four books ago. I will probably watch this for the Egoist couple because they are my favorite, but the Romantica and Terrorist episodes will most likely get skipped.
I am glad that we are getting more BL anime, but at this point, more Junjou Romantica is like beating a dead horse.

I'm very excited for this! Junjo was the first manga I owned but I stopped reading when Blu/Tokyopop went under - although I do have the scans sat waiting to be read. Hopefully the will do another 2 series (or one 24 ep series).
This is good news

Really?
This is crazy. Sure I loved JR for a while, but yeah I only really liked the Egoist couple as well.
But this is crazy there are so many wonderful yaoi mangas out there that should be animated.

This is awesome!!!
I have rewatched Junjou Romantica S1 and S2 like 10 times each. For some reason, I enjoy Romantica more than Sekaiichi Hatsukoi.
I really hope this is the third season, not just some OVA.

This is a glorious day! Please be a third season! Please be a third season! There's enough material for a third season! Please be a third season! I am beyond stoked! The Sekaiichi news, this, and Hybrid Child news, absolute sweetness. Now someone rescue license Sekaiichi and Junjo manga and also license the Sekaiichi anime! Complete my nerdy yaoi fangirl world!
Good news really does seem to come in threes for me.

I'm mostly interested in the Junjou Terrorist couple at this point but I'd be lying if I said I won't watch anything they have to offer here...

Snooooooore. I get that Nakamura's stuff is still selling like hotcakes, but the last thing the world needs more of is Rape, Domestic Abuse, and The Boring One With Cabbages (with a side of Rape IIRC).
If there's more Mistake in it, though, I'll at least peek at those episodes. One of the few couples Nakamura's ever written that doesn't make me want to claw my eyes out.

Yawn x 10000. So many beautiful Yamamoto Kotetsuko manga out there and they keep beating this dead horse. Junjou has become such a drag. I'll watch it -mostly because I still love Egoist- but I'm not looking forward to it half as much as the promised Love Stage adaptation

Just a thought, is it becoming fashionable in the BL fandom to not like Junjo Romantica or Sekaiichi, either both or one? Half the posts I ever see are "Oh my god, not another one". I would love to see other BL mangaka to get a break that's not some one-shot OVA that's main purpose is to be animated smut (No Money anyone and unfortunately the Close the Last Door OVA which sucks cause Yugi Yamada deserves better). His Favorite by Suzuki Tanaka (being released currently by Sublime) I think would be a great choice to become an anime as it is not a typical BL and it's more of a crazy comedy than anything else.
The thing is for Junjo (and Sekaiichi) is that there is plenty of source material (enough in fact to make a series that's over 24 episodes long once and should be able to do again), there is a fan base (me included), and last I checked Nakamura's works are some of the only BL that make it in the weekly top fifty selling manga in Japan (I believe I've seen Ayano Yamane's Finder and Super Lovers by Abe Miyuki since I've started checking the chart not to say I haven't missed some). It kind of makes sense that they would keep going with it. I certainly still love it and curse Stu Levy everyday that he closed Tokypop/Blu.

I wouldn't say it's fashionable, and I don't really hate Junjou per say, but the fact that Junjou's relationships are generally not interesting and both Romantica and Terrorist fall into the "rape>>love" godawful premise that many BL use makes it not-so-great in my eyes. Many fans don't like this sort of plot -me included- and would prefer that other series with healthier relationships got attention (I mentioned Yamamoto Kotetsuko earlier, I think she does wonderful things in portraying healthy BL romances in which both parts stand on equal ground, and there's also HaruDai which got a super summarizing OVA ages ago even if it has 20 volumes worth of content).
I sort of wish Junjou was over already, the Romantica plot is so dragged out and repetitive it's boring and Nakamura obviously ran out of ideas for Terrorist since at most she write 20 pages of that one every two years. Egoist will always remain one of my favorite pairings of the Junjou-Sekaiichi verse and the library scene from earlier volumes will always be one of my favorite heart-wrenching BL moments ever, but that one too has sort of been forgotten in favor of Romantica's awfully repetitive control-maniac-Usagi plot.
But hey, I'm pretty excited about the KirishimaxYokozawa movie. I love what I've read of the novels and I'm infatuated with single-father themed BL, so that at least I'm looking forward to. And if this new Junjou thingy has more of Mistake or Egoist, count me in.

Honestly I would love more BL to be animated in general. I know where people have the issue with the rape then love in the series in Romantica but it was addressed as an issue in the series later on (which is more than I can say for most of the BL I've read and I've read alot). As for Terrorist, I'm not sure where you are coming from unless you mean the uke harassing the seme. I can't really remember I tend to skip it when I reread it cause the kid's annoying. For me I've really been enjoying the latest chapters of Romantica as it's been focusing on Misaki graduating from college and finding a job and what's going to happen from there in their relationship. I know it's just my own opinion but I find that pretty interesting since I just went through the same graduate and find a job thing myself. You don't see it a lot in BL. I'll agree though that Egoist is the best out of all three with one of the healthiest relationships in the series (and better than a lot of other BL for that matter) As for a BL anime portraying a healthy relationship than HaruDai is not really a good example because one of the main characters does rape the other guy.
I'm pretty stoked too about the Kirishima/Yokozawa movie since Yokozawa is one of my favorite characters and it's gonna be great to see the story animated instead of having to read crappy English translations of the novel while my Japanese volume taunts me.

I *love* unhealthy relationships in my BL. See, it's sexual fantasy, not a primer to be used as an example to teach young men and ladies about proper relationships. Hell, the men in BL are about as far from reality as Twinkies from health food, so I'm sure not looking to BL for realistic relationships. My favorite BL is about is f*cking and falling for someone you probably shouldn't, and having the best sex ever because that's what bad boys in romance novels are good for.
If I want healthy I'll eat carrots.
(I do like JR, and am looking forward to seeing this anime. The first series was cute and romantic and fun and I loved the seiyuu. I thought the series ended at vol 12 though, so I'm curious to see what's been happening since and how Nakamura's handling it. I thought she was tired of it before, which is not a good sign.)
