Hello people!,
I was just wondering if anybody enjoys koda kumis music videos and her music. For those of you who arent aware of her, she is the artist who sang Real Emotion for FF X-2. I's also want to know what do you think of her music..

Sure, but you're nuts if you've been buying all of those new singles. 12 in 12 weeks is insane.

I currently have Koda Kumi's "Secret" playing in my disc player.
I was introduced to Koda Kumi through her work on the Cutie Honey live-action movie. As a big Cutie Honey fan, I have heard many versions of the Cutie Honey theme song however, I really liked her version of the Cutie Honey theme and the other songs that she performed for the movie as well as the songs that she did for the re: Cutie Honey OVA. All on "Love and Honey" RZCD-45129.
That said, I have since bought a few of her other albums and I have been happy with my purchases. I find Koda's voice to be very strong as her slow songs contain more depth than the typical JPOP idol does. Her up-tempo songs are pretty catchy as well.
I guess you can say that I like her.
p.s. I stay as far away as I can from the CD singles.

I've only heard a handful of her songs and they're OK. Some of them even sound almost American, but I can't stand egotistical/overhyped pop princesses in the U.S, and hearing some of her songs makes me think of them, hence the handful.
My favorite one would be Come with Me. It has a nice, upbeat tempo that sort of mixes pop and jazz. It would be a great song to put on DDR . That and T.M.Revolution's Zips .
P.S. She's also the only Japanese girl I've ever seen with a pierced tongue .

It wasn't THAT bad of a deal, especially when the majority were half-priced, and (ignoring piracy) there were quite a few free goodies to get with them.

3 x (2 songs + 2 karaoke) at 1000 yen
9 x (1 song + 1 karaoke) at 476 yen
That's already more than $60 for an album's worth of music--an album that just so happened to drop a few days ago for $25.
But hey, enjoy your "free" goodies. ;p
