I seriously hope she's joking about the The Last Airbender thing, otherwise I'm pretty terrified. Go happy rainbow, take her out!

Soo, is there going to be another Elf that shows up with a black (key) aura to complete the CMYK color model? Because that would be awesome.

... Hate to tell you, 19th on the 2010 box office, $131,772,187, definitely profitable and probably good enough for sequels. I bet they'd consider dropping M. Night Shyamalan or cutting the budget though.

If she wanted to deliver a fatal blow to independent comic news elf she could tell them it earned more than 4 times than (the pretty damn cool) Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. which even made less than Marmaduke.

I'd actually like to see a sequel to The Last Airbender, just to see Toph and Azula. To be honest, I didn't dislike the movie; it was just...different...

ugh, man I feel ill. profitable just makes me weep for the human race.

But? I have to wonder how they will turn her to the dark side. Heh, by reminding her of where all those good ideas came from? Spielberg walks in with a manga under his arm? The mind boggles. sterling work as always, Robin.

There is nothing quite so damaging as knowing that a terrible adaptation was profitable enough to justify making more of it. That doesn't help the case of our news elves much.

Mentioning that the Last Airbender made money definitely was a solid attack. Laughing

Why did they omit the "Avatar" part of the title when the Avatar cartoon came before James Cameron's movie?

James Cameron began work on Avatar in 1994. So, there ya go.

Personally, I find Sexy Evil, well... Sexy. So my vote -if we even get votes- is for the the Evil (and definitely Sexy) Hawt Elf.

Yay! Go Ceci! Stomp those lesser elves and remind them that they cannot stand up against Hollywood! Send them back to the darkness from whence they came!
