This is a show I'd definitely buy the Blu-ray of, rather than the DVD =D

Hopefully this justifies some more Puella Magi action. The last episode just screamed "SEQUEL!"

Contact whomever you ordered it from... often they will offer a replacement service of their own. Either way it is the risk you run for ordering anything prerelease internationally. |

And remember, it is the 'FIRST DAY SALES', not a week.

How do you make a 'mistake in the dialogue', its not like they re-recorded the show for the DVD/BD release?
Ah man, Ide love to have this on BD. The anime people in japan need to start putting more english subs on their stuff. Either that or the AU/US anime people need to start emulating their releases . |

Remember that at the base level an episode of anime isn't some linear thing recorded on a tape, it's a whole bunch of digital files on a computer all programmed to compile together into a whole. In this case, it's a conversation that essentially goes line 1, line 2, line 3, line 4, line 5 - except due to an error when they were putting the episode together, it plays back as 1, 2, 3, 2, 5. |

Ah, right. i see. i would have expected them to thread all the individual recordings into a single master track, but i guess that makes sense.

22000 copies sold on 1st day
Shaft must be printing money. But anyway, they deserve it. |

This is unbelievable! After sending out defective Garden of Sinners box sets how could Aniplex manage to screw this up.

To be fair, the box isn't produced with the Blu-Ray author's computer, nor is it pressed at the Blu-Ray plant :S To be straightforward though... I agree with you. I paid upwards of $400 for my Garden of Sinners box and I've dealt with a box that has nearly fallen apart since purchase (Yes, it has warped THAT FAR! Do not doubt it, or I will bring pictures!) and now I've imported another "Premium" limited edition Blu-Ray for multitudes what I'd pay for a basic, well-authored US Blu-Ray... and I'll have to RMA it to get a fixed copy. I can only dream that in some sort of sliver-of-hope alternate universe, Aniplex will announce a plan to recall Madoka BDs to a central location in the US for all of the fans who imported. That way they won't have to pay international shipping for a defective product exchange. |
