They invested some time ( read money ) in creating the preview. I don't think they would do that without having something more in mind.

Patience.

Yamada is his name! Kun is a formal way to call a male friend!

I hope at least an OVA or movie.

The live action adaptation is "ok", but I really think an anime from the get-go would have been better.

The live-action adaptation looks like it was filmed with a '90's camera, and the story is way out of order... And of course, the acting sucks. Just watched it on TV on Saturday.

Still, I hope they change the cast for the adaptation... I could not stand Saori Hayami to play Shiraishi... Her voice is so... Bland and scratchy...

Why do this to us? The author's previous manga Yankee-kun to Megane-chan never got this kind of special treatment but this does?

LOL! Your own anime! Imagine that...

This sounds like a very standard setup but if it is executed well it could be fantastic. The art looks nice too. I hope they do make an anime and not just the PV.

I notice the seventh witch got a cameo appearance. Nice; she only had one scene a couple months ago.

I could say the same with Cocoa Fujiwara's Dear manga- It's far better than Inu x Boku SS, but because it was the one that was currently running, that's what got animated.

The fact is, the mangaka wasn't AS popular during Megane's run, and now has enough popularity to sustain her. Now she has the eyes of the production companies, and also of her publisher. Anime is almost only produced when a manga is serializing so it will be promotional material. Basically, almost all anime is ads for other products, not just DVDs and merchandise. Megane was lucky to get a live-action drama at the least, which definitely boosted sales and the mangaka's popularity. I know it sucks, but it's the anime biz world. However, I love Yamada-kun and the 7 Witches, and I would love to see it as an anime... Just with a different cast than the promo.

Lots of "controversial" kisses there. Reminds us of this real-life story earlier this year:
"Junior High Graduation Photo Rocks Netizens of Japan to Their Core"

Here's a preview of the controversial photo:

(Click on the photo to reveal the shocking picture.)

Japan is really going down the drain. What's next?! Very Happy

Same-sex “kiss friends” now trending in Japanese high schools
