I placed an order 2/16/20 that, as of today, still has not shipped, because 1 item is out of stock and apparently they don't do partial shipments anymore (at least not when you select free shipping, maybe)... $25 Blind Box Bargain Item [this is free due to a promo code I got in a "Valentine's Day" card that came in the mail from TRSI] Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Classics Blu-ray Gabriel Dropout Manga Volume 7 Gabriel Dropout Manga Volume 6 Class Reunion Again DVD 2 [adult] Sex Hypnotist Zero Blu-ray [adult, this is what's out of stock] The Patients of Dr. Maro Blu-ray [adult] I already called them a little bit ago and was told they could not release a partial shipment in their system, and the out of stock item has an ETA of end of March...really, how hard is it for Softcel/Sentai to have a batch of Blu-rays pressed... So I continue to wait... |

Manabi Straight BD Recently, My Sister is Unusual DVD Robot Carnival BD Sorcerer Hunters SD BD Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan BD Since it's Discotek, I'm assuming/hoping that Sorcerer Hunters will be better quality than the first SD BD I bought, Maiden Japan's Hataraki Man. Gave up on waiting for a BD version of Recently, My Sister is Unusual. On a sidenote, Manabi Straight, Robot Carnival, and Dokuro-chan represent the first ever (non-SD) Blu-Rays of 4:3 shows that I've ever bought. From RSA's clearance sale: Animation Runner Kuromi 2 DVD Cluster Edge Parts 1-2 DVD Den-noh Coil Parts 1-2 DVD Guin Saga Parts 1-2 DVD Koihime Musou S1-3 DVD Leviathan the Last Defense DVD (sub-only) At $2-3 per 13 episodes, some of these were hard to pass up. Guin Saga was slightly more pricey, but should be worth it for the best dub evar in the 2nd half. From RACS via Amazon: Labyrinth/Eden of Grisaia BD I had ordered this from RSA back in 12-28-19, when it was labeled as "Out of Stock, Expecting More." Two months later, I inquire about it and confirm that it's out-of-print. It's only been 3.5 years, so I wouldn't think that the license is expired. Maybe they're planning a complete "Of Grisaia" collection. Though I guess that's the difference between today and yesteryear -- they're not printing massive quantities of everything and still having discs being liquidated 10+ years later. |
