Ahhh...
I think that KYLE JONES is a genius! His work on KINO'S would've been hard to top (although, I still would've been interested in hearing their take on it... not that I'd be able to listen to it >_> ) But yeah, TOKYO GODFATHERS comes in this month too right? ... Does it have a dub? (I really need an answer on this) |

Tokyo Godfathers has no dub, but a subbed version.
But still watch it. TG is a wonderful movie! |

I actually own the thing out here in the US, but it has always been floating around my mind if ANIMAX ever produced a dub or not
*and it would seem that they didn't... which is too bad* Thanks for answering my question |

If this is what makes your friday nights thrilling and exciting.... never mind I won't go there. Thats cool I wish they would show those type of shows on [as] rather than those damn squidbillies and 12 oz mouse but yeah Kino's Journey is one of my favorite animes. Hopefully it will air someday in the US so maybe we can get the Movie Prequel about her mentor but that's just hoping. |

No, I think you misunderstood me. I just said that it simply makes friday nights exciting and entertaining. I mean, before Kino's Journey, we had 7 weeks (seven fridays) of watching Onegai Teacher with high-quality english dubs (the one shown on Animax-Asia uses the OFFICIAL ENGLISH DUB made by Bang Zoom). That was indeed the start of watching highly-entertaining & high-quality anime. Now, that Animax-Asia has Kino's Journey (and on the same Friday timeslot too), it makes things much better. And once we (the viewers) knew that its "official english dub" (yup, the dub from ADV), we didn't have to worry at all. This also gives us a break from watching their anime programs with their Singaporean english-dubs HAHA. So, that's what I meant by "it makes our Friday nights more thrilling and exciting". Btw, this is only just a clarify things and is not in anyway an offensive post. |
