The discussion thread for the most recent "Brain Diving", "I Like The Cut Of Your Ghibli", is in the ANN Australia Talkback forum rather than the main one. (To be clear: the subject book was published in England, not Australia.)

Hm - I'd wager what that means is that if the first person to respond to a column is in the UK or Australia, the talkback thread winds up in their respective subforum.

Dan, any idea if we can make editorial talkback threads automatically snap to the North American talkback forum?

Does this sort of article count as "editorial"?

It's supposed to have been fixed.

I don't know if it is in any way related, but while we have a talkback thread for the Siren Visual C article and the thread correctly links to the article, the article doesn't show how many replies are in the thread like it normally does and if I click the discuss link it tries to create a new thread.

--edit--

I didn't check the date of the post - it was before the fix so probably just hasn't been moved.

Uh, yes, that is exactly what it is. All of the columns and reviews fall under my department, which is editorial.

Ah—okay. Other Talkback threads have type labels (NEWS, REVIEW, INTEREST), but the one in question doesn't, so I wondered.

Yep it's entirely my fault. I was first to reply.

Hmm, I thought we fixed that. Maybe the fix only worked for new.

It didn't move existing topics to my knowledge - I flagged the posts in the UK forum that needed moving after the bug that created them was fixed, but didn't think to check the AU forum.
