Pity both shows were terrible.

Iron Man was okay, I guess. It was watchable for the first half, but the second devolved into pure deus-ex-machina stupidity. As for Wolverine, it was wrecked from the start by glacial pacing and shoddily animated fight scenes.

Still good enough for G4, I suppose.

G4 airing anime?

Nope. Sorry. You can't go back to the TechTV glory days.

Someone forgot to remind Marvel that.

Well, what about X-Men? Wolverine is in that too. X-Men Wolverine's tone is slightly different from Wolverine's Wolverine.

I didn't like IRONMAN, but I enjoyed Wolverine. It did have some bad animation but the overall show was action from beginning to end and that's what I would expect from a Wolverine anime.

My buddy who hate's anime and is a big comic fan Loved it. So I think it will appeal to a wide audience. I just hope the Blade anime is extremely violent and has tone's of blood and gore.

So, I take it they're going back on their original plans to air these shows subtitled?

Not that it should be a surprise, but given that they aired Ninja Warrior (Sasuke) mostly subtitled, I figured if anybody would give it a try, G4 would.

When did they say that? And why would anyone want Tony Stark and Logan in Japanese? Laughing

Well these were written by an American comic book writer and are essentially American cartoons produced in Japan, so it makes sense why comic fans would liked them but anime fans didn't.
