High School DxD New (TV) Genres: action, comedy, romance, supernatural Themes: demons, developing powers, ecchi, harem, school Plot Summary: Isei finds new troubles about to enter into his life and two even sleeping in his bed. While looking at an old photo album of Isei's, Kiba sees a familiar sword being held by an old friend of Isei's, which reopen's old wounds. Meanwhile, Devils, Fallen Angels, and The Church's agents all clash to get their hands on, or just destroy, powerful weapons called Holy Swords. If that weren't enough, Isei's red dragon warns him that he senses his old rival the white dragon is drawing near. ---------------------------------- Episode 1: OP song is okay although I liked season 1's better. Oh and this was uncensored :p thank you AT-X. Anyways, some new characters introduced (two of them actually) and they seem interesting enough. Heh, Issei sure is a lucky bastard still in this sequel. Hopefully this will be adapted well although it's only 12 episodes. |

Uncensored you say? That's a relief. Even if AT-X's visual quality is usually impaired, it's preferable to censorship.

Ya, it was aired uncensored. AT-X did air To Love Ru Darkness censored but this was not the case for this time. Anyways, nice to see this back!

I don't believe it's up to AT-X's discretion on what gets censored or not. It sounds like a production committee choice, and they give AT-X the materials, which is why it's always a gamble as to whether the show is watchable as it airs or it becomes a "wait for the BDs" situation. Very inconsistent, very annoying. |

As always the eye catches are amazing. I thought they'd slowly escalate like last season but it goes straight for the good stuff. Mmmm, Asia...
Nice it goes right into the new storyline as opposed to doing what some other shows do and have some random adventure to reintroduce everyone. |

It was nice to return to the DxD world. However, the ED visuals aren't as awesome as first season's Stripper ED.

I like that some plot threads will be following Kiba this time around instead of just Issei, I hope the same happens for some more of the characters in later episodes.
