I happen to have that book (bought it at Animate Taipei last month while showing Ranmah around). What kind of fan support do they need?
It's better to mention DMP's full title, Digital Manga Publishing, at lease once in the press release. Not everyone knows DMP stands for Digital Manga Publishing; I had to Google it. By the way, here's their forum. |

lol. I used to think I was a pretty good otaku.
"Cool, a domestic Lain artbook! Whatsa DMP......" dormcat, how long is the artbook? I love ABe's work, the Haibane Renmei artbook is probably the jewel of my entire otaku collection. |

Crap, you should have asked earlier. I shipped mine back home last week (my current residence is rather small, wet, and damp -- not an ideal place to store valuables), and I just visited Animate Taipei earlier tonight. IIRC it's over a hundred pages, and ABe's official site has a number of 156, but that's not exactly page number.... Even without DPM's domestic release, the artbook is spoiler[filled with English already, and many pages have the same texts in both languages (think Rosetta Stone). Some hidden texts can ONLY be understood by English speakers (preferably Americans; requires special knowledge on early stages of telecommunication developments).] |
