I remember that Yuu couldn't really figure out how to use the magical compact and stumbled onto the transformation thing more or less by accident. I liked to imagine it was just one of many powers the compact had, but she just never realized it.
The millions of panty-shots disappear about a third of the way through the show. Old kids' shows sometimes had stuff like this, but maybe it was too much even for then? |

You know, now that you say it, that does seem very likely, and is certainly borne out by the spoiler[episode with the black stag]. She also isn't the world's most patient kid, so she probably wouldn't bother to keep pressing buttons and drawing things in the air to see what else was available. |

Sorry, but I watched the first ten minutes of the first episode and then stopped. It was just WAAAAY too ridiculous and stupid for me to take seriously.

Unless you have any "friends" in the US or canada. Which as someone who routinely ships to people international everyday I can say that is very easy to do. |
