In UK asian film and anime magazine, Neo, it states that the UK TV premiere of Naruto will be at 6:30PM on 22nd July to be repeated at 9:00PM and will air daily from that date. In the same article Manga Entertainment have slated a tentative release of the first DVD to be "in time for Christmas".

About time us in the uk got this and according the said magazine we could be getting the uncut dvd's (w/sub) as well........ |

It also mentions the possibility of getting the Japanese dub on TV too but that is purely a rumour.

I just hope Jetix doesn't treat it like it did with Shaman King. Repeating it umpteen times before ever finishing it. I missed the final episode of Shaman King because I got so fed up with all the repeating half way through so many times I lost interest and moved on.

LOL, I'm very scared for Naruto in the U.K. Since it's gonna be on a 6-11 channle, I'm worried that Jetix will be editting it way too much. They'll edit out blood, cleavage, Sexy No Jtsu, Jiraiya's pervertion, and Rock Lee getting drunk. They should put Naruto on another channle in the UK that's not 6-11. Besides, Naruto isn't even a kids show. It's a show for teens, adults, and 12-year-old tweens. So if Jetix of UK puts one edit on Naruto, my head's gonna EXPLODE!!!!!!
Thank god I'm glad I live in America.
