lol Wow, just look at those (literally) one-sided ratings on the ANN page for the manga...

Not at all a fan of the series, but I'm happy to see a popular manga that isn't the Big 3 or Sailor Moon topping the graphic novel list.

And it deserves it of course imo as I too find the manga to be enjoyable enough to top the charts.

Nothing wrong with it. Anime-without-animation on the other hand...

Attack on Titan Vol.5 is #19 ranked in Comic Graphic Novels over all. That's pretty impressive.

AoT #1 and #5 also hold the top two spots on Amazon Canada's Top Manga.

Looks like I'm finally going to have to stop putting off this series.

Why? Popularity and sales are no guarantee that something is good, or that it fits one's preferences.

It's been on my list of books to grab since the first volume was released but have put it off due to other series grabbing my attention. So ill pick up the first book and see if it fits my preferences and see if I agree with the opinion of the masses.

I'm trying to hold off on reading the manga series until the anime is concluded. I don't want to tarnish the epic feel and plot twists of new episodes. I usually do this with most manga.

Eh, I'm a bit spoiled already. Got volumes 3-5 today, hope to read 'em over the weekend. I also hope the story stays good in the long run, because if it stays this popular it's going to be around for a long, long time!
