And yet Funimation has still not licensed it yet, and it'll still be another year even after they announce it before it comes out.

these things take time, there's no reason why they won't, either they make money or they don't, and funimation is smart

They're going to license it eventually. If it's not announced by AX, then something weird has come up. Point is, even if they licensed it today and announced a release date, it won't be available until 2014 at the soonest.

We don't know if they licensed it as of yet. They have not announced the acquisition of the license, that much is true. The point being is that they could already own the license but are waiting for the right moment to announce the acquisition.

Apart from some of the credits and the Japanese title being replaced with the English one, this is exactly the same ad as the NicoNico one from the 1st of November last year. Oh, and it's in 360p, of course, because Australian Evangelion fans hate their eyes.

Yeah because that's exactly how we're going the view the film on the big screen too. We <3 ourselves some 360p.

I didn't say the cinema screening of the film is or was going to be bad quality, I said that this trailer was bad quality.
