Man if this movie ever gets licensed and brought over here, I want ALL of these extras. Even if its for limited release, I WILL buy it, upfront!

What's the word on the film so far? Any good? Cause...honestly, anime movies based on long-running shows aren't exactly known for quality entertainment. It's all empty fanservice.

id stay away from cdjapan, most of their listings are more expensive then other places. For example Amazon Japan has A Certain Magical Index Film for around $25 less.
season 2 sold well, so regardless of the movie it will still get a third season at some point. |

Amazon Japan ships outside? Movie made 400 Million Yen. So yeah, it sold extremely well. And in an interview about the movie, this was said by Index director: "Currently, the "Miracle of Endymion" seemed to have gathered a large number of people to support it, the "Toaru" series itself, games, and comics, it has spread greatly. With this trend, of course I think it would be nice for a "Toaru Majutsu no Index" anime sequel. However, for now I'd like to wish the best of luck for "Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S" (laughs)." So yeah, after Railgun S. Nothing too surprising. |

I wouldn't say they're all bad, but my general policy with any anime getting a film that isn't related to the plot is to just have fun with it, I've saved myself from a lot of hair pulling that way and managed to take a look at some gorgeous animation. |

Yes, they ship CDs, BDs/DVDs, and books overseas. Video games and anything else will not. They charge a flat 1700 yen per-order fee for discs, plus 300 yen per item, so if you order one item, it's 2000 yen for shipping. The more you order, the less you pay per item as it just keeps adding 300 per item to that base fee (but note that as soon as you add a book, the base fee becomes 2700 yen instead). If you're just importing one disc, you're better off using HMV.co.jp. Their discount off the MSRP isn't quite as good, but the shipping should be cheaper. |

Funimation I hope will pick the second season of Index up and release the movie as well! I also hope japan makes a third season from the light novels!
