Being that Mai Maid is suposed to be a prequel,I wonder how Natsuki and the others will be like.

From what I've heard, taking into account I don't speak much Japanese, nor can I read it, here's what I've gathered:
The "working name" has changed several times, and is currently "Mao-HiME". It's supposed to be an alternate universe, not a prequel or sequel. Possibly has something to do with spoiler[The door that Nagi and Mashiro went into] |

More Natsuki and Shizuru scenes please! Hee hee, they're so kawaii together.
I think it's an AU setting alright. I can read hiragana and a lil of katana and kanji, and based on that pic, Shizuru's new surname is Biola (Viola probably) while Natsuki's is Kuruga. |

It's Shizuru Viola and Natsuki Kruger. Close enough to Kuga don't you think?  Just add an "r" and stretch the "a" sound.
The fanart is already starting on those 2 for the new designs. What their relation is in this installment is anyone's guess. Although it is kind of odd to end the first season with the new girl and then have another verison of Shizuru and Natsuki. This series is beginning to intrigue me more and more. Let's see where Sunrise is going with this. And lets see if anything in season 2 connects with season 1.

something my-otome related is going to be on that fandisc. from the pics, im not too thrilled. that last pic looks like magical girls show. -_- and what is artemis doing there, hmm? thinking its only an omake like on the other hime dvds to introduce you to the new character. it seems that DVD9 is going to have some sort of epilogue to the series too, http://www.sunrise-inc.co.jp/my-hime/web/products/img/dvd09sp.jpg . or are those just postcards? |

the first my otome character single is scheduled for September 22, along with My-HiME DVD9 and fandisc.
(there were 3 character singles + radio single for My-HiME before the anime) |

After the teaser video last week I thought "This looks like Sailor Moon". After seeing that new character on the site I thought "This IS Sailor Moon". Anyone else feeling that way? ATM I'm only interested in this because Kajiura is once again composing. |
