Moving Items between Home and Con

I'm a big fan of autographs on my merchandise and I'm beginning to see some wear and tear on some of my autographs (getting ever so slightly smugged).

With this in mind, I was hoping some folks here might have some suggestions for ways in which I might be able to transport my items between cons while making sure that they aren't damaged.

Currently, I'm wrapping items in bubble wrap but I'm thinking I might want to lean towards packing them tightly in non-reactive paper first.

A lot of it depends on what type of merchandise you're getting signed.

I am pretty sure bubble wrap is good enough for ya.
