Monster Musume at #1 nice.
It looks like NGNL dropped out of this week after staying there for a month though. Also curious to see when Nisekoi spinoff will rank up here.

I can't see Viz licensing the Nisekoi spin off given they haven't even licensed any of the Naruto spin offs.
Nice to see Noragami 2 on the list; definitely seems to be a hit for Kodansha USA. Also nice to see Nisekoi sticking around.

I find it funny that Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou is not only on the list, but most of the time #1.

And this isn't the first time it's happened either

Frankly, I can't quite see the series as an anime show. In the manga format, it works: short mini-arcs consist of 1-2 chapters (max). If it was to become an anime, it would be a somewhat of a Variety Show, each episode as a self-contained entity. Now, one can argue that (the currently airing) Denki-gai no Honya-san is following the same pattern; not quite, since Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou is a Haren, Ecchi, and Seisen show (and then we'll have another Maken-Ki 2 on our hands).
TL;DR
Nice thought, but low possibility of it being a good anime, IMO.

What happens in the NYT list doesn't really affect what becomes anime in Japan.

Nice, 2 of the manga volumes that arrived yesterday (Nisekoi 6, Noragami 2) are on this list!

Well, in the sense that Japan is finding out how well a series in doing here, it might.

Might get a "Oh, that's nice," response over there.
It's possible that some are worried that it would become the next Rosario + Vampire. The manga was popular, but Gonzo tried to do too much with the fanservice.

When a new volume is released it's always on the list at #1.

Ugh, don't remind me of Maken-Ki 2, it's even more shameless and the characters have lost everything they had (what little it was) from the first season. Loads of adaptions of fan service heavy source material tend to forget about everything else that makes the original appealing.
Oh, Attack on Titan #1 almost got kicked off the list. Really, that's the only reason I check these as frankly my taste for Japanese comics is almost dead (I love what I already own and Attack on Titan).
