Oh happy Day This is the greatest news i heard in a while to Think that it would air this early i actually anticipated i had to wait longer for it but yes now i got another good summer season anime to watch Very Happy

I enjoyed the anime, but was really let down with the ending of the original manga series. I wonder what part of the story the new anime will show...

Not normally a big fan of shojo, but sailormoon and rozen maiden are two must watch for me because they carry so many great memories. For like the first time ever, I can't wait for the finalized summer lineup.

So what is this anime gonna be: sequel, reboot, prequel?

Not that I'm complaining since I enjoyed the first TV season of the series. But I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I jump in.

Wait a minute wasn't there some mention of a new season mentioned some time back? I look forward to some more Shinku fun.

So what is the premise? Sequel, prequel or reboot?

I thought the manga isn't complete yet and is still on hiatus? Or did it just recently finish up?

From my understanding the manga went through a reboot after they switched publishers which is why the first half of the manga ended the way it did.

The manga sequel has been running since 2008 (volume 9 comes out on May 17th).

FWIW, TBS's booth at TAF had a big banner that said "Welcome Back Rozen Maiden" on it that was using a promo image from Traumend. It's by no means a smoking gun, but it makes it a tiny bit more likely.

Yeah that's what it was. I believe Traumend ended the same way that the first part of the manga series did?

Yeah I checked MyAnimeList, and it lists the second manga series as "Rozen Maiden II". I'm sure the new series is based on this, then.
