Ok, we're all aware of the stereotype that *some* anime tend to be way over the top and silly when it comes to attempting drama. Some, like Death Note, Kaiji, and JoJo's Bizare Adventure fulfill this spectacularly. So, here is where I ask you to put down some of the more... memorable of these abominably silly anime/ characters and scenes that stood out to you as being laughably silly.

Ok ^^'; How about ALL OF FREAKING JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE. First episode and we already have this rival forcibly kissing our protagonist girlfriend and barbequing doggie because his family has some silly desire to ruin JoJo's families life for some fortune. Another example, the way gongorian chants and weird, close up shots would be taken of people eating potato chips and various snacks in Death Note.

Then I will mention Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, it is a series that runs on melodrama, well especially connected to the teacher, many a things have left him in dispair. One time in particular had them doing a bit on saying really normal things as if it was a big deal. *SHOCK*
