Finally, a poll worth holding and some very reasonable results to boot.

Every man, woman and child should watch One Piece.

I would have replaced Dragon Ball with Detective Conan, but otherwise I agree with it

I can't believe Pokemon, Captain Tsubasa, and any Gundam series is not on the list. Let alone Mazinger.

Joke post?
If someone showed me that as a kid, I'd turn into a very... interesting individual.

Given their widespread popularity in Japan, I'm surprised none of them made the list. Maybe they'll show up on the ladies' list.

I could think of a dozen or so titles from the last TEN YEARS that I'd rather put on that list

I've wondered which I'd like to show my son, but he's not two yet. I'd think something like Pokemon.
Oh and..
Which animes would you want to show your future kids?
anime is singular and plural. Animes is not a word.

Awesome list, though I think One Piece should be up a bit higher. Right under Dragon Ball.
And how come Pokemon isn't on there? I grew up on Pokemon & Dragon Ball. Hmm, maybe it'll be on the females' list.

I think maybe that either Cobs didn't have them as the choices, or the people doing the survery though answers with any Ghibli movie would be a cop out answer and too mainstream and went with something less mainstream.

Personally I would make my child watch Little Nemo in Slumberland and Kiki's Delivery Service every sunday at brunch.
However, that'd just be my parenting.
(Plus, the classic American cartoon, The Powerpuff Girls. I would not be the lady I am today if it was not for PPG.)
