And as usual, it won't come anywhere near Memphis.

This probably won't come anywhere near me but still looking forward to seeing it, hopefully the Blu-Ray release won't be to far off after the theatrical run!

I watched it yesterday and enjoyed it quite a bit with the themes and story telling. It's a bit long but worth the time imo.

Simply because Funi is a North American company. I don't see what there isn't understand, especially since many region-specific videos get blocked. Plenty get blocked outside of Japan already... |

Wish I could have had the chance to seeing it this Friday but I'm recovering from a bad cold. I'll have to catch it on the 24th. I would have liked to sat in on the director Q & A.

This looks adorable! I've never seen any of Mamoru Hosoda's work besides the Digimon movie but I've always wanted to. I definitely want to check this one out, though I'll probably have to wait to get it on DVD as well because nothing comes to Ottawa

summer wars was amazing it's very well worth it to check out, pretty much the same can be said for girl who leapt through time. 1 question did it look like the mom became a wolf at one point near the end. because I would swear it looked like she did and I thought she was human and he was the wolf/human. |

The point is that it is a trailer, most normal people don't block trailers because it is simply silly to do so. And there are plenty of trailers from Japan that don't get blocked, so that is hardly a reason. That said Sheleigha you can try watching Madman's trailer for the film, I don't think they have region-locked it, but I haven't been outside my region to find out. REEL ANIME 2012: WOLF CHILDREN TRAILER EDIT: Just checked it out. The Madman trailer is not region-locked and the Funimation trailer is the same trailer and same subtitles as the Madman one. So just go watch it to get your Wolf Children fix. |

I watched the movie when I was in Japan. I loved it. There's just something about placing a fantasy element in a realistic portrayal of society that makes this movie feel... relatable. Especially when you know Japanese society and how realistically this movie portrays it.
