Makes sense. It sold pretty well and they introduced far too much in the story to have it all wrapped up in 1 cour.

So what's the sequel called? K2? (name already taken) 2K? (Hello, copyright lawsuit) KK? (treading into dangerous waters, there Japan. Let's not make VIZ cry). Personally, I think the sequel to K should be L, but that probably is a bit too cute for it's own good.

It would be interesting to see the reaction if it does go the KK route and it gets a 3rd season. I wonder if the average Japanese person even know much about that part of American history.

Well this sounds pretty good. The current season does seem like it'll wrap up the story it's trying to tell but the overall setting has a lot of stories they could go for. Maybe a story about some of the other clans we didn't see in this season.

Probably not, considering Shuffle had that whole Kitto Kitto Kaede club.

The sequel will likely be K' or some other random punctuation symbol added to the end, as has become the norm lately.

well that's a shame. Biggest disappointment of the year for me, because I let the hype get to me

YES! [expletive] YES!! I absolutely love the show. Me and my mates watch this every week. It's in this seasons' top 3:

1st place: Psycho Pass
2nd place: Zetsuen no Tempest
3rd place: K

Is this show any decent? Please say it is.

I don't want another Shangri-La. All hype and zero stones.

The show is pretty alright. Not amazing but not nearly as bad as the reputation it's been getting. The show improved a pretty good deal from the first few episodes.

Did you like Durarara? Do you like style over substance?

If you answered yes to either of those, then you'll probably think the show is decent.

Why the Japanese should care about Americans reaction?

The world doesn't revolve around you!
