I know I previously brought up one case of an anime labeled as "pornography" which I didn't think should be considered hentai based on how things are normally classified here. I think 1+2=Paradise is another such case. While it has tons of nudity and lots situations that could be described as erotic (on multiple occasions the main character ends up stuck pressed up against a naked girl), there isn't any actual sex, and there aren't any images that need censoring to comply with Japanese law. While I think many Americans would consider something like this to be soft-core porn, if other "almost hentai" anime like Aki Sora and Minna Agechau (both of which have sex scenes) are not considered hentai, I don't see how 1+2=Paradise can be. Furthermore, all of the other anime databases I'm familiar with (myanimelist, anidb, and animenfo) don't consider 1+2=Paradise as hentai. Finally, Amazon Japan doesn't seem to consider it as pornographic (here is the page for 1+2=Paradise). Normally for hentai titles at Amazon Japan, there will be a screen asking you to confirm that you are at least 18 years old, and then the page itself will say "adult item", but I don't see that here.
