Totally stoked to see Oshii doing comedy again! That's one of his really strong suits! So is his project basically a visual novel?

(Romanov Higa though... yuck! Stay away from that guy, Oshii, he's bad news!)

Sounds like it could either be a motion comic (something like this) or a visual novel. Hopefully, it's not just showing colored manga panels and the voice actors read the dialogue while the characters having little to no movement.
