I can't wait for this! I guess it's rated mature because of all the suggestive jokes and misunderstandings, but it's still ridiculous.

...Yeah. This wasn't an announcement to me, at all. So if Hourou Musuko got licensed by CR, they wait for the last day to announce it and keep me tense. Of course. That's the way it always goes. |

It was already all-but-confirmed, but this is still good news. One of my most anticipated shows this season. It's a shame this season will only be 8 episodes long.
Even though their classifying it as a "mature" title, it (from the 1st season at least) has a heck less mature content than Heaven's Lost Property or any other fanservice anime. |

Aw, don't skip it due to that. It sounds worse than it is, it was just urine samples the kids had to give for a school drug test or something, and, well, let's just say you don't let the clumsy teacher carry a tray of those samples... The show is hilarious and one of my favorite shows last year, and besides most people agree that episode was the weakest of the first season. And yeah, 'mature' is kind of silly, but that's the way it goes here sadly. Very little middle ground when it comes to kids stuff vs adult stuff. Mitsudomoe is about elementary school girls cracking dirty jokes in hilarious situations, which pretty much everyone did when they were a kid in school (some kid would hear a word from his brother/parents, then repeat it at school where it spreads like wildfire, or someone brings in a playboy.. ah, good times.) |
