Oooo nice idea, a thread where you can post Easter eggs!
In the Cowboy Bebop Disc 6 When you go into the extras menu scroll down to MM and press left until ein's visor is lit up and then click on it and a hidden picture gallery comes up! There are TONS of easter eggs hidden among the El Hazard Dvd's, if i got the time i'll post them up here. |

Very nice idea of a thread. Something acctually useful.
Acctually... while I can't say I can contribute at the moment, I have a request that if anyone knows of, they could tell me. I recall once reading of a Easter Egg in the third Mahoromatic DVD which shows a compilation of every scene in the first season in which Mahoro is singing. I lost the article though. Anyone know what I'm talking of? |

Courtesy of AoD: "Go to the extras menu and go down and highlight "credits", then press the right arrow on your remote and it will select the "extras" text. Press enter and you will get to see a special bonus that shows all the times Mahoro sings, in English or Japanese" |

I found it! It was in Anime Insider Issue #11 - January 2004, p. 76. Mahoromatic Vol. 3: - Go to the extras menu and highlight credits. Press right, and you will see "extras" highlighted. Press enter to see a montage of all the times Mahoro sings in the series, either in Japanese or English. I also agree that this is an excellent idea for a thread. The mods should turn this into a sticky thread. EDIT: Looks like Kazuki-san beat me to it! |

Here's a couple of more:
Sailor Moon S - Hearts in Ice movie: From the main menu, select Extra Stuff. From there, highlight Transformation Scenes, then press LEFT. You should see the cresent moon on Luna's forehead highlighted. Press Select while the cresent moon is highlighted, and you will unlock the transformation scene where spoiler[Luna transforms into a human]. Kiddy Grade - All Volumes (Vol. 1-8): This Easter Egg works on all 8 volumes of Kiddy Grade. Access the Extras menu and highlight to the Main Menu arrows on the bottom. Press LEFT to reveal an invisible arrow. Press Select and you will see a subtitled version of the original Japanese piracy warnings complete with illustrations and screenshots from the series. The characters that voiced in the piracy warnings are as follows: Vol. 1 - Eclair Vol. 2 - Lumiere Vol. 3 - Armbrust, Eclair, and Viola (with illustrations by Ryoko Nagata - the seiyuu for Eclair) Vol. 4 - (I couldn't remember the characters' names, but I will edit this once I find out who they were.) Vol. 5 - Eclair and Lumiere in reverse roles. Vol. 6 - Alv and Dvergr Vol. 7 - Bonita and Ricki (GOTT receptionists and friends of Eclair and Lumiere) Vol. 8 - Lumiere, Mercredi, and Eclipse (with illustrations by Aya Hirano- the seiyuu for Lumiere) |

Not quite sure if this qualifies as an "Easter Egg", but since it seems an odd little thing to put on this disc:
Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum, Volume 7 ------------------------------------------------------- The exterior of the box mentions "Full-Length Animatics for Episodes 24 and 25". However, when you select "Animatic for Episode 25", instead of an animatic for the original episode 25 ("Do You Love Me?"), ADV Films threw in a very detailed, 9-1/2 minute animatic of the End of Evangelion Episode 25 ("Air") (spoiler[starting with the landing of the other Evangelions and ending with Ritsuko's death and a quick shot of the broken NERV coffee cup.]). There is no voice-over in the animatic (save a small scream from Tiffany Grant), but it's a very nice, completely unexpected little extra. |

Also for EVA Platinum vol. 7:
Episode 26 has a fourth audio track that's completely silent until the end credits begin, during which features a brief rant from Spike Spencer on the ending. |
