In the animated film, "Over the Hedge,"...the mischievous con-artist raccoon R.J., and...the sensitive turtle named Verne....find a suburban housing development encroaching on their forest home, Verne's first instinct is to retreat into his shell and leave, but...R.J. sees a treasure trove to be had from his unsuspecting new neighbors. Together, Verne and R.J. form an unlikely friendship as they learn to co-exist with -- and even exploit -- this strange new world called suburbia.

You try too hard. It's not exactually a new concept or one that's original to Ponpoko. Besides, the animals involved are all wrong and the solution to the problems appear to be different (seeing opportunity in coexisting rather than trying to prevent the spread of sprawl). Please stop trying to make something out of nothing, all you're doing is feeding the morons who actually believe this stuff. Emerje |
