Just a little FYI, the US release of Volcano High that came out last week has both the US chopped and dubbed version and the original Korean version on the disc. The only problem is that the subs are for the Closed Caption with the sound effects and other things like that. Also, I don't know how accurate the subtitles are, but they don't have any US pop-culture reference; so I assume the pretty accurate. Well, I just thought other people might like to know this. And all this info is despite what amazon.com says.

Personally, I don't find the movie to be all that great. I've seen it twice now, and while it does have pretty decent special effects and a few funny moments, the character development and story just never got me hooked. And the actual hand-to-hand martial arts wasn't so great either, guess I should stick to Chinese movies for my fill of kung-fu and wuxia.

But seeing as how the R1 release has the uncut version and for such a low price, I guess it's still a good deal. Maybe reading the manwha would've made it more likeable, but oh well. For those of you who are in to Asain (live action) cinema, I'd suggest you maybe rent it, at least.

It's still dubtitled. Enclosed on the forum is a possible link for a return. [/url]

Edit: My bad. Accurate subs, but closed-captioned ones.

That movie made my brain bleed... and I'm not talking about the American chopped version, I'm talking about the original. Some cool special effects cannot repair the damage done to my mind.
