Have the theaters that Steamboy is going show in when it comes out March 18th been released yet? I can't find anywhere it says so. It's only a week from the debut and I would think they'd have released it by now.

Cool, I can walk to my local theater to catch this one! It's great that my cinema picks up basically every anime that comes out.

Were as the 7 cinemas in my area almost never have anime. I'm going to miss another great one. I'll just have to wait for the DVD.

I actually heard somewhere that something like 15 minutes was cut from the film. So what you're seeing in the theature is not entirely the whole movie. Although, I think it's good that more and more anime are getting releases in theatures but it would be nice if it was nation wide.

Hopefully, the DVD will have the original when it comes out. Wonder what it was that was cut out?

From what I've heard they say that the climax needed to be shortened because it was too drawn out. |
