Issei TANAKA ____(田中 一成, 1967-04-08, 11 cast credits) is a kanji misreading duplicate of
Kazunari TANAKA (田中 一成, 1967-04-08, >80 cast credits, picture, Aoni Website, Wikipedia page with reading たなか かずなり = TANAKA Kazunari and references to most of the anime that "Issei" is credited for) as reported by EmperorBrandon back in 2007-04-12. Both readings are amongst the 8 valid readings according to ENAMDICT. 14 credits for 11 anime moved (flag&add) from Issei to Kazunari. Every source I've come across for his Gash Bell roles has his character as "Yamanaka" and no mention of any "Nakayama". I think the kanji was probably being looked at backwards (or it otherwise got confused) when it was first entered. The correct name already existed for the TV series, I added it for the movie, and all the rest are hidden. Otherwise, everything matched up with the sources I've checked, so this is done.
The staff credits on Kazunari Tanaka do not belong to the seiyuu, so I've started a new split request for that. |
