The UK looks to get a nice release. I wonder if the US will have anything similar, or will it be something plain?

Ultimately the UK release will be more expensive since it is spread over 4 discs but yeah it's much nicer.
Honestly I am disappointed in the Viz release its like they put no effort into it. Even if they included a box like Funi does would have helped. Or at least not chosen that ugly yellow background. |

The UK release also has a lot of extras. I believe there are translated booklets and stuff. I'm fairly sure it's almost identical to the Japanese extras.
