Naruto Shippūden

As you probably already know if you follow Naruto at all, Naruto Shippuden is set to air on Disney XD this Wednesday (starting at 8:30 pm Eastern Standard Time) with 4 new episodes.

I'll be tuning into the premiere just to see how certain voices are done (Deidara and Sasori in particular). And I'll tune in from time to time just to see how other characters are cast, along with watching the higher budget fights, but I don't really plan on following the dub. The show is really mediocre until it hits the first filler arc, so I'm just not ready to go through that again anytime soon.

Though, who knows. The show really has a great time slot, so I might just tune in every week when I have nothing to do.

Here's hoping that it goes well for Viz and that fans won't complain about some minor edits when uncut DVDs are going to be available.

Does anyone know if they are going to air 4 episodes every Wednesday, or is it just this first night and then go to 1 or 2 eps? I did notice that 3 hours after the 4th episode, they repeat the 1st episode only.

According to the listings, this 4 episodes in one night thing is a one-time deal. They go back to airing one new episode for Nov. 4.

Is it me or is this censored more than part 1 was on CN? They've gone back to "destroy" instead of "kill," and even CN let him say "Sexy no Jutsu," but Disney won't.

Crap now we've gone back to oldschool Toonami mentality. We gonna have to bring back Kyle Pope?

OH NO, EDITING ON TV VERSION!!!! Child, please.

I now remember why I got bored with the end of Naruto and dropped Shippudden, I hate all the Sasuke drama. I will drop back in when spoiler[Hidan and Kakuzu show up ]because I thought they were awesome, but it'll be on my "To Do When Bored" list. That means I'll only be dropping in during Mythbusters commercials. I do hope this creates more (buying)anime fans, though.

I hope it does well enough for more than 1 episode a week - the first four episodes were a blast, at least I thought so. When Naruto is good, it's so addictive. When it's bad (fillers and last dozens of episodes of the previous series), it's just exasperating.
