This certainly seems to have a higher budget than Aum Shinrikyo had for their anime.

So I guess that means that anime isn't just all tentacles, rape and underaged samurai catgirls, it's also apocalyptic religious propganda too?

Here's a review of Hermes in Love http://www.animejump.com/index.php?module=prodreviews&func=showcontent&id=716 Hopefully this one will include Oompa Loompas too. |

It amazes me how all big religions think we are worth saving... and by the creator himself!!! Well.... not buda thou, he didn't create a thing.

This is certainly an interesting film. What is so controversial about Happy Science (which sounds like a band or geeky anime title) anyway?

I can't help but compare it to the future Osamu Tezuka "Buddha" film that is coming up. I'd be more than happy to watch both of the films. I personally think Buddhism is a big hoax, but I'm more than willing to watch it with a "fictional" mindset.

The guy who founded it has some really weird predictions like the USA sinking because it pissed off God, and Jesus coming back even though his a buddhist. It makes Scientology look sane. |
