I'm sorta excited for this, but it's probably gonna suck.

It's probably gonna suck indeed, though would suck less if it was only the hero from the first serie.

Probability the conclusion is just as dissatisfying as the end of GX?

Marketing errors here: 1. If we count the original Toei Yugioh series, that first aired 11 years. If we count only the Duel Monsters series, that debuted April of 2000. Same thing when we had learned back in the winter there would be a 3rd Shippuden movie out this month for Naruto's 10th anniversary. Technically speaking, it's November when it's the decade anniversary and we found a trailer/teaser for it in one of the Shippuden episodes back in November/December when it just started the 9th anniversary. I find it better to release it when it actually the month of the decade birthday.

Chappers: Waddya talkin' 'bout? All of GX sucks!
Anyway, at least the yaoi slash artists will be happy.

I don't care what anybody else says - as a fan of the franchise, I'm excited for this. These kinds of crossover specials are always intriguing concepts to me, so more power to those who concoct such specials.
Besides, I don't expect A-Grade entertainment when watching Yu-Gi-Oh! anyway.

Well...I guess it's neat. Though it does make me wonder how all three characters are going to meet up in any reasonable sort of way. For them to enter some contest would probably be easiest, but who knows. I'll probably end up seeing it, but if you ask me, something like this probably won't have much of a plot and is just asking to be parodied.

Well I never liked GX, and I haven't seen 5Ds yet. But I did love the original series, so atleast I'll get to see Yami Yugi in action again! ...Or atleast that's what the picture implies...

Oh, totally. That's the only way I would watch Yu-Gi-Oh.

well i wouldn't say that. it's as i said, this series along with pokemon seasons 1-8 are the only series 4kids did that was passable.Might be mediorce, but they were decent dubs.
though i was seriously pissed that 155-180 of GX wasnt dubbed. They probably scrapped the final season cause to comply with FCC rules and regulations, they might have to do massive edits [ via 4kids' one piece and shaman king edits] which got them the bad rep in the first place and they dont want to do anything stupid to ruin their main cash cow
Hopefully when it's license expires it can finally get a dub that it deserves and hardcore fan can get to see official and legal subs (NOT Fan Subs or abridged) versions.

Not really a profitable venture unfortunately, the couldn't pass "uncut" versions (as DVDS) to fans years ago...and although they were supposedly dubititled, that was the only issue. However, Wikiing has yielded this!
So there ya go.
