Ok after reading the mod's comments and rule #3 I guess I'll try this again.

If your life and the world could work like an anime, what kind of anime would you live in?

I would like to take the extremely spontaneous crazy hilarity of School Rumble and Pani Poni Dash and mix it with the world of either The Last Exile or Full Metal Panic. Could probably sprinkle some heroism and a little of Rumbling Hearts drama in there too. Lets not forget some romance can't have a life without that either. It sure would make a crazy and unboring life which would be just about perfect.

Well thats what I'd like what about you guys?

Too easy. I'd want to live and work in a harem world where between six to eight hot chicks inexplicably are madly in love with me and vie for my affection. It be nice if they were built like the girls from Ikki Tousen, but without the ability to totally kick my ass. Oh, I'd also like to have it so that Hell Girl was in this world and would ferry my enemies (or anybody who irritated me at all, actually) into the depths of Hell without me being damned in the process.

I'd like to live in the world of Pokemon- were it's so safe, 10 year olds commonly traverse countries by themselves, and the government is so well managed the roads are lined with centers to provide passerby and their pets with shelter, food, and medical care free of charge. Not to mention the police are widespread and well funded enough to show darn near everywhere crime happens... not that it's a big deal when it does, considering the local orgainzed crime group is staffed by incompetents who are regualrly exposed by the wandering 10 year olds.

(I would, however, like to dip into Tenjho Tenge and give myself the power to manipulate my own body fat. How much do I weigh? Doesn't matter, I still look great! Laughing )

Just throw me in the world of Air, Kanon, or Clannad for its over-the-top cuteness and sugary overdose. To supplement my income, I'd have to chase bail jumpers while donning my long, black overcoat with sinister hat. Once I catch up to them, my partner, Jo (Burst Angel) would provide backup with Jango while I use magic to ensnare my prey.

For tough jobs, I'd enlist the help of the Gunslinger Girls.

Once done, I'd hang out with my partners, Yukari, and Minamo (AzuDa) for some drinks. I'd have to keep the sake away from Yukari, which may be the day's biggest challenge.

After that, I'd fly around a bit, hoping to test my skills against Eve (Negima) as the girl's got some mad skills.

I'd help Shana smack around a few denizens, snatching a kiss or two from Wirhelmina when I can. I'd probably suffer a few scrapes and bruises, but it'd be worth it.

When I get tired, I'd fly home to Tokyo and lie down next to...

... ah, bliss.

Crap. Back to reality, I guess.

Ah reality where being responsible isn't an option, it's a requirement.

Anyways if I'd choose a world to live in, It'd be something cool like Galaxy Railways or Record of Lodoss Wars (although probably I'd just be a civilian or peasant) Now with something a little more realistic, R.o.D the TV series at least has heores I can get behind and root for, unlike some other series.

And probably something a reflection of reality which rings true for me and perhaps others

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxRj5uWyngI

So maybe it's not too late to change that reality which I'm seeing?

Hmmm, lets see now...

I think I'll get together with the cast of Pani Poni Dash! and stage a takeover of the Nirvana from Vandread. With some work, we should be able warp Vandread's reality and merge it with that of PPD's. Then, if I don't feel like addressing Hibiki's complaints directly, a chibi version of myself will pop into the corner of his vision and speak for me.
I'd put Shu Momose in charge of the kitchen while Nanjo acts as head waitress. Rei will lead the authority team which will include Shiratori, Ichijou, Media, and Behoime; they'll keep order on the ship and prevent mutinies. Akane will work with Miyata and Kurusu on entertainment and moral support while Miyako will be placed with Parfeit in engineering. No. 6 would do good in Wrench-Central and Inugami will be with Duelo in the infirmary. I'll keep the pilots the way they are, but I will disallow the changing of breast-sizes from scene to scene, they have to pick a single size and stick with it as that would just freak me out.
And that's only the beginning...
We would travel the galaxy (which happens to traverse multiple anime realms) and make a name for ourselves and make allies and destroy enemies. If we come across a powerful foe, well, that's what Himeko is for. Just drop her into their base and it will surely be self-destructing before the day is done. I'll set up "business" deals with... "trade companies" such as Bailan (Burst Angel), the Nobuseri (Samurai 7), the Soldats (Noir), and maybe Hotel Moscow (Black Lagoon) but Balalaika scares me so that's a maybe.
Once we get established enough, I'll make an offer to Eclair and Lumiere (Kiddy Grade) that they can't refuse to become my personal guards and take them with me on my... "business" dealings. Lumiere can do the espionage/sabotage duties and Eclair will keep me from dying by whipping the asses of those who try something on me.
Eventually I'll have enough connections to track down and employ the 12 Sisters (Coyote Ragtime Show) and contract them as a 'strike-squad for hire' through my organization. I'll get them the job offers, they get the payment, and I get a cut of course.
However, the 12 Sisters' big job for me is to track down and systematically exterminate the entire casts of both Ikki Tousen and Shuffle!. Kaede may wield laser-guided exacto-knives, but I doubt that would do much good against January's twin FNP90s.
Once that is done, I'll see about making a UFC style arena tournament where all of the badasses of anime can come and challenge the Otome or HiME of their choice. It'll make billions I tell ya... billions!

A modern day Full Metal Alchemist world would rock. Being able to turn a pole into a spear at any time? It'd rock. Then, I'd combine it with something like Clannad, Kanon, or The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (without the whole "Haruhi is a God" issue) for the beautiful girls. Finally, I'd add the part of the Eureka 7 world where you can SURF ON THE AIR. The mechs may or may not be allowed, depending upon if they totally kill the point of alchemy or not.

For me, it wouldn't have to be anything too over-the-top or filled with characters from all my favorite series. Instead, I'd enjoy living out the anime that takes real life and spices it up a bit.

It might be fun to have access to the Augmented Reality glasses from Dennou Coil, or perhaps be able to see bacteria or spirits like the main characters from Moyashimon and Natsume Yuujinchou, respectively.

I would also love to meet Ryuu Sasakura, the main character of the Bartender anime, especially since classy bars like that don't exist where I live (or at least I haven't found where they're hiding them).

I think the type of magic in Someday's Dreamers: Summer Skies would be the best kind, too. It fits realistically into everyday life and can affect things in both subtle and huge ways.

It may seem weird, but I would love to live in the world of Princess Mononoke. I just love the world Miyazaki fleshed out (well, as long as I didn't have my arms or head lopped off by an arrow). Actually, now that I think of it, most of the anime that I would want to live in would be fantasy filled adventures. I mean, most others would be too familiar (slice of life), others would be too dangerous (Evangelion, When They Cry), while others would just be too embarrassing (Love Hina, Green Green). But to be in a setting similar to Escaflowne or Moribito would be amazing. Even the worlds of Ruin Explorers or Slayers would be interesting. I guess I would love to live in a fantasy adventure.

Clearly you haven't been to the UK Very Happy

Wow, tough question. Well I would like to experience Kyon's position where lots of crazy things happen but I'm very much more of a spectator, I just like the idea of knowing the truth even if I'm not directly involved. This way I can integrate the many different worlds. Hellsing and Elfen Lied backdrops are a must, with Hellsing I would just love to see the Church of England actually do...something. I would have an NGE versus TTGL battle across the worlds. I would also have a local version of Higurashi where I would take the position of Hanyuu and figure out the murder mystery. Also Death Notes will be handed out in schools. From here I would just marvel at the chaos Laughing

Lets see maybe a bases of a world in Hayate no Gotoku, but with an even larger boost of parodying of others, a harem might be nice, it may include a magical girl but not one that likes to use me as a playtoy. Add some persocons from Chobits, augmented reality from Dennou Coil, and then add a bit of supernatureal people like from Seto no Hanayome or Kanokon.

I'd definitely choose Soul Society. Who wouldn't want metamorphosing swords that never really kill anyone, hot men of every age, and lots of sake all around? I wouldn't say no to Roanapur either, but I feel that'd make for a much more precarious existence.

If I wanted to stay sane, I'd love to live in a world where BECK was a real band and not some wierd American artist.

On the flip side, it'd be totally cool to be a vanship pilot in Last Exile, provided I'm not shot down or nagged to death by my navigator...

It seems two people already mentioned The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but no one mentioned wanting her power. Her ability to mold reality at will is all you need to satisfy every whim and desire. Even if it's just for a limited time, it would be unimaginably fun and amusing to play God.
