Yo, kind of a super-special late post by me here. Anyway, I just got done watching episodes 25 and 26 of GTO. Outstanding episodes!
AHEM, onto the subject... (warning car-dork talk ahead!) appearently the nurse Mao was a former street racer who drove an old school C10 Skyline. Appearently, the nickname of the C10 was Hakosuka. I wonder it the R34 has one? I know the R32 was nicknamed "Godzilla" by the western press.
One last thing for my brother/sisters out there with Skyline-love, appearently the next-gen Skyline is designated V35 and it is available in the US as the Inifiniti G35 (according to Tokyopop's handy-dandy cultural notes insert). That's strange, I was under the impression that the G35 was Infiniti's version of the 350Z (they have the same body style it seems).

Anyway, I must find out once and for all if the G35 is the Skyline V35... TO THE MOTOR TREND ARCHIVES!
