If "Kyuu" means "Climax," is that a hint that 3.0 will adapt the remaining episodes (or at least to 24 before the final movie) at a really fast pace? Are they just trying to be weird or silly? Is it a "Highlander" reference? Any combination of the above? Oh, who knows.

Eva 1.11 BluRay Superior; FUNi's 1.0 DVD inferior. Simple as that.
Anyway, that's an odd title for the movie, I was expected more titles with words in parenthesizes. |

Just like the Japanese were, I'm sure we'll be treated to every version of the film under the sun. Just wait until all the films are released and we get an Eva 1.99 Super Deluxe Remastering - The Final Cut. lol |

Oh man, I'm kind of wishing I hadn't read the review of the second movie. Not only did I completely spoil it but spoiler[Asuka dying? What the hell?] Regardless, I'm still looking forward to getting to see the second one, but...I'm feeling more than a little sad.

Well you do have to read the entire review including what's in the trailer for movie 3. After reading that, you should cheer up some. I'm so envious. They got to see movie 2 in a theater. Hopefully the wait for movie 2 bluray version (2.22 ) in the US won't be too long.

heh, the way I read the spoiler filled reviews of both movies [spoilers? where? gimme more!] yeah, I think the mind-frells in these movies, while more in the open, may be more insideous. But as hikaru004 points out? read to the bottom of the review. All I can say is in the theatre you can't run away. The visceral impact of what you see will be that much harder. Hopefully we'll get 2.0 in theatres somewhere in the US next summer so we can find out... and? I hear 4.0 will be called The Revenge of The Pen-Pen
please note that kuu Q quickening, hasn't been oficially translated for English... so it may be quite different when we hear of it... |

Next summer for 2.0? Don't hold your breath, it took two years for 1.0, I'm pretty sure all the others will take that long.

I didn't realize it came out yesterday. Maybe I will go see it if the reactions are positive...
But then again, the first movie got a lot of praise but I fell asleep during it, so maybe I just don't get the Eva hype. Can't say no to nice animation, though. |
