I'm kinda surprised to see From the New World so high, since its not the typical kind of anime that does well in these polls... rest of the top anime are expected though.

I'm assuming it's because of this relationship chart that's been released: http://i.imgur.com/u9Qo9.jpg That's right, 2 certain fandoms may join forces or butt heads with each other! |

K is a dark horse because nobody know what this anime is about. Even ANN's spotlight gives us nothing. We only know there are many pretty boys and fightings.

I'm lucky enough to be able to watch the first (or maybe only half of it, can't remember exactly) episode of K in AFA Indonesia few weeks ago. It feels like DRRR!! (the urban feel) mixed with Star Driver (the hilarious, fabulous, over the top battle) One of the character skill is spoiler[conjuring fireball from his cigarettes! ] |

W UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! >o< Lucky, lucky lucky! Nothing ever comes to India...sniff. Can you tell me? were there any hints of shounen ai? or rather companionsip between the males? If it does, it might sell well. |

Hmm. Gintama drop 7 places since the previous Biglobe poll.
Well. Its understandable since some episodes are selected re-runs. Either way. It would still be my number 1 choice. |

Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai! up first?
Let the hate begin... In all seriousness though I'm pretty much focused on Hayate and the new Bakuman. I'll check out the first one out of curiosity and a few others but otherwise I already have my own list for fall season ready. |

I am finding hard to believe how JoJo Bizarre Adventure is nowhere to be found in a top 25 of most anticipated animes this fall. I know it's not moe or an adaptation of a KEY work but even then....it's dissappointing.

Not to beat a dead horse but the Kyoto Ani Award is retarded. Do they seriously think that a novel is not worth a grand prize but still worth publishing, animating and apparently becoming most anticipated of a season. The criteria seem somewhat wonky.

Hmm IIRC the first episode is spoiler[only introduction to the characters, mostly the white haired kid, forgot his name lol, and the environment/school, but there might be a hint, since this is about a battle of two group which the members are mostly male (though maybe that's just the surface). Scepter 4 is like modern shinsengumi IMO. But there are fanservice for male viewer as well, so I think even if there's any, it wont go that far, this show seems to aim audience from both side. ] |

Interesting. Based on that chart I imagine them joining forces, as the one possible heterosexual pairing would mess up both the yuri and yaoi pairings. And if my understanding of the arrows on that chart is correct, it actually seems like a dual yuri/yaoi result is the more likely to occur.
While the current description on ANN's encyclopedia page is a bit vague and uninteresting, a description I read on one of crunchyroll's season charts actually sounds pretty good. Apparently the "chūnibyō" is actually some sort of mental disease where people believe they have special powers and that they have to save the world. In other words, believing that you're a stereotypical teenage anime protagonist (not literally, but you get what I mean) is a mental disorder. Depending on how they handle that, it could make for a really funny comedy. |

The only reason Chūnibyō is that high is because of KyoAni. Its got your typical LN name (Regardless of My Adolescent Delusions of Grandeur, I Want a Date!) and type of story... if it was say, JC Staff or Deen, nobody would care about it. But KyoAni makes everything it touches gold, so it should be good.

I agree the premise really made me think "huh, this could be fun." Even without it I was willing to give it the halfhearted two or three episodes to click with me since I was plesantly surprised how much I acctually enjoyed the characters in Hyouka, as in Eru wasn't the only driving point, the characters did acctually turn out interesting and nicely developed. If I enjoyed that while causally shrugging off its trivial cases to continue watching with the mindset of it being a character driven show, I really could give this a shot. Either way my list for the fall season is packed: MOST INTERESTED IN: Bakuman 3: Haven't read the manga but I heard it ended so this could be the final season, and I've heard pretty nice stuff as well. Jojo: After hearing about this for so long I'm finally going to get my first look into the series and see if its for me or not. Magi: Another series that seemed to come out of nowhere and I swore off to read its manga unless the first few episodes of the anime already get me invested in the show. Fairly curious about: Hayate: Its only in this section because the mangaka is going to be involved with this and I'd love to see how that plays itself out. Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai!: Should I really have to say? not really psyched but I'll try it anyway: Setokai no ichichozen: Didn't see season one but heard it was pretty funny so after going through the first season I'll see how I feel about this Code Breaker: It looks cool; though I heard it gets a bit too "shounen-ey" and if the kind of "shounen-ey" is the kind I got from fairy tail, then that will be a instant negetive, but we'll see. Little busters:only say a few random manga chapters but I know its a VN, so I'm pretty much like "hell, lets just see how those people at the crunchyroll /AMP/ react to this." otherwise I guess seing it animated may give me an opinion on it since I didn't really have any strong feelings about it. Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun: I read a manga with a very similar title to this one. Alrigh thats a shallow reason but thats why its on this section! |
