I just happened to notice while doing an Encyclopedia search, the results have an "Ads by Google" display box.

As a subscriber, can someone please explain why this box is showing up to us?

Did you turn Google ads off in your subscription menu?

The following options are checked:
Turn off Infolinks
Turn off banners
Turn off rectangles
Turn off buttons

In addition, all the names in the listbox are highlighted (indicating the ads are turned off)

If there's a Google option, I do not see it on the page offered to me.

We'll jump on this right away.

Can you send us (or post) a screenshot ?

Ahh, sorry for the delay. I went on a much needed vacation last week before the madness that is July:

July 1-6 Anime Expo
July 7-11 Tokyo
July 16-20 Otakon
July 23-26 Non anime event.
August: Sleep.

Anyways...

So you only get it during search? That's part of Google Search. It's not part of our advertising system.

I honestly can't remember if it's optional or not, I'll have to go look. If it is optional, we'll look into it.

I can't blame you here! Now that you're back, get to work!

Ah, that makes sense. It's not an option to turn off by us. I just thought all ads (excluding video) were blocked.

It may have been there this whole time, but I only noticed it because it was offering me cowboy boots links.
Anime dazed

Not an issue, truthfully. Scrollbars make them disappear, as well as features in Firefox. I'll utilize them now.

Thanks for your help, Tempest. Now, don't forget about our souvenirs!

UPDATE EDIT:
Well, blocking isn't an option as the entire results seems to be contained within a single frame.

Any way to break apart the ad frame from the results frame?
