Funny how I would have went to Hong Kong but turned out not going to <_<. Also, Yurumates is an one-episode OVA, isn't it?

You know, I'm crossing my fingers for some big name guest for Otakon's sunday musical performances...
And right now? They're all kinda meh.
On topic: Interesting to see a 'pretty' big j-pop singer going to england. Hope the con-goers there enjoy it.

Colour me interested but doubt I will be able to make it due to distance, work, money etc. Why are there never any conventions in Wales?

Hurray!
It's nice to have guests who's songs I may actually know coming to the UK.
Heck, it's nice to have guests fullstop at a UK con.

I wouldn't call Momoi a pretty big J-Pop star, but she's very famous in the Otaku world, and all Aya's congoers are very appricative - it's the first time in years a Japanese guest has attended a UK con, let alone such a big one!

Certainly news to me. Alas I can't say I've heard of this VA, but as said before, the fact she'll be attending is alone reason to be excited. Paranoia Agent is available over here, so I assume many attendees will know her for such a role.

(riffing off your icon here) You just need to
Form an anime club
Forcibly impress members into the club (no, not me, I live very far from Wales)
Give members incentives to recruit more members
Prevent members from leaving Wales
Hold periodic (for example, quarterly) club parties
...
Hold your own Welsh Anime Convention
