I believe he's talking about the one that Bandai licensed, then cancelled it. The one in North America.

There's only one Gosick anime. That specific release isn't happening, but the series is available to buy in the West, albeit without an English dub. Unfortunately, this release is more expensive than one by Bandai or Funimation would be, and would also incur shipping fees.
