I've only seen the first episode, but Ryousuke is most definitely not "lovable". He's a complete slimeball who only loves girls for their mammaries and who voices out loud any and all utterly perverted thoughts that runs through his mind. He thinks of nothing but sex and is completely defined by his libido. I couldn't stand him.
Compare him to the titular character from Great Teacher Onizuka. Onizuka was a out-an-out horn-dog, true, but he was also so much more than that. He respected his female students, saw them as actual people rather than walking tits. He helped his students because he could, so he did. Not because he "treasured" them or any such BS. No, Ryousuke was so repulsive I barely lasted that first episode. Although, he still pales in comparison to the lead male character of Highschool DxD, who made me drop the show in the record time of under four minutes. |

- everything else I actually made it up to the beginning of episode 2 (or was it 3?) in hopes to find something not generic. Not really complaining that there's a lot of generic stuff, but rather everything. The execution could have overwritten that, but unfortunately it couldn't escape being generic either. Hagure Yuusha is better and I'm keeping it as my seasonal ecchi. Perhaps it's worse in many ways, but at least the protagonist isn't just another wuss. For example, when he wants to grope, he just does it. And that's mostly what I want from my ecchi. Not another tsundere and character who has a beauty at home yet can't even molest her. |

This sounds like the kind of show I could watch at night while inder the covers on my Iphone.
Except it's not available to watch on CR's Ipod/Iphone ap. Dammit. Guess I'll use Horizon for my late-night anime watching. |

I have a two questions an I hope someone can answer.
1. I recently got crunchyroll subscription service for my ps3, now are all the anime shows from crunchyroll.com available on the ps3 app, because I tried looking for Queens Blade Rebellion and it was not there??? 2. Now is all the anime that has fan service, is it censored on crunchyroll? |

I don't know about the first, but the answer to the second is that CR uses the broadcast version for simulcasts, but when they add a catalog title they sometimes get the home video cut.

Yes, it's censored on Crunchyroll.
And dtm42: Since you have only seen the first episode, and thus haven't seen how Ryosuke's character players out over the long run, I do not find your lambasting of the series to have much merit. It is not episode 1 alone that I was basing my evaluation off of, after all. |

Yes, it is true that as I've only seen one episode I don't know how Ryousuke acts in episodes two-through-six. But I don't want to know. His actions in episode one was so offensive to the male gender I wouldn't care if Ryousuke dresses up as Santa and gives kittens to cancer-afflicted orphans. I wouldn't care if he enacts sweeping legislation to legally obligate employers to give women equal pay. I wouldn't care if he spearheads a program which eliminates AIDS in Africa. I wouldn't even care if he invented the hoverboard.
In episode one he is so utterly repulsive that I don't want to have anything more to do with him, and I never want to watch any more of the show. Maybe by shunning the show I will be missing out on the surprise hit of the season and one of the best series this year. However, I sincerely freaking doubt it. |

You sure are spending a lot of time talking about him in that case. |

Not really. I was explaining my reasons to Key. That's it.

CR sure takes their sweet time streaming this so I just watch it elsewhere uncensored.
Overall though, it's a meh series for me although I do admit that there were some good drama here and there. The latest episode had a hell of a cliffhanger though as Ryosuke is about to have a potential fun night of his life |

For #1: Do you have the Mature Content Filter in your video settings (https://www.crunchyroll.com/acct/?action=video) set to "Show Mature Content"? Second, do you have a date of birth entered into your profile? Both are required to show titles CR has restricted to those 18 and older. For #2: For any simulcast, CR gets the version that is broadcast in Japan. Those that are watching the uncensored fansubs are watching rips from AT-X, which is far from free. It is a premium channel that costs the equivalent of about $23 per month. |

Spoken like a true fanboy. The more you like or dislike a show the more things you have to talk about it. That's common-sense. |
