Great English class. I haven't seen Ben Pronsky in an anime in a LONG time.

Give me a home release please! Although, Viz's releases have gotten horrible in terms of packaging.

I disagree. Does that make me an idiot? Or does that make you the idiot who judges a show on just the first cast release. Pathetic.

Nope Wendee Lee means its going to be epic! Also for those that don't know Todd Stone is Todd Haberkorn he is going by a different name for whatever reason.

Well their Neon Alley Panel at AX confirmed everything there will get a DVD/Blu Ray release so it will get one at some point as to when...who knows? Viz is bi-polar about release dates these days. I would assume some time in 2013 though.
On the note of the dub itself the cast list is interesting. This is more or less Todd Haberkorn's first LA dub (unless you count SSF4) and the VA's for Kana and Yura seem to be newbies(unless it;s VA;s using new aliases as well) so that should be interesting to hear.

You ever heard Darrel Guilbeau in a GOOD role?
Actually, I'll answer that for you: NO, you haven't. The man is a talentless hack who is only given these main roles because of his somewhat "youthful" sounding voice and because he has friends in the industry. If you've ever listened to him in shows like Overman King Gainer, you'd realize he can't act his way out of a paper bag and has the voice structure of a whiny gay robot.
So OF COURSE I'm gonna judge the dub by the first cast list. When your main character is being played by a terrible actor, it has a tendency to drag the entire dub down with it.
The man's batting 0 for 0 now, and unless he gives up this whole "50 year old man trying to sound like a 12 year old" schtick, I have no reason to believe any role he ever takes will EVER be good.

One good actor in a minor role does NOT undo the damage caused by a terrible actor in a lead role.
Need I remind you all that Crispin Freeman was in the Utena dub. And we all know how well THAT turned out...

Would you prefer "whiny effeminate robot"? Because that description works just as well.

I take offense to that.
I loved the Gainer dub!

To be fair to Darrel Guilbeau most of the important stuff involving Rikuo is based around his yokai form who he isn;t voicing. So long as he sounds like a kid(which we all know he can do) the dub should should presumably be fine(though personally I find him to be a pretty good actor but eh).

So we have Daniel Guilbeau (Who was good in Code Geass and... well, that's pretty much it), Grant George (who I've never liked in anything), and then 2 people whom have no other VA credits as the leads? Yikes.
The supporting cast is great, but I'm not too jazzed about this one.
