This may be a shocker for some, but I have to admit this show is a serious guilty pleasure for me. I know its as stupid as a bag full of monkey turds, but I can't help watching it. Maybe it has to do with the fact that they designed them pretty hot looking. I saw one episode of the new season and it looks pretty good to me. Like the animation has improved quite a bit and the sight gags are better done.

With all the American anime-eque series out there, that show takes the cake for BETTER character designs. Unfortunetely, the plot is way too dumb for me to watch. Neutral

That's because it's French.

The company Marathon, and the same director and character desinger for Totally Spies also did Martin Mystery and that TV show aired on YTV and Teletome or Teletoon in Canada, which was based off of a french comic(with much better art).

Teen Titans doesn't really have that much of a plot compared to Totally Spies. Broken down its basically, "We're a bunch of teenaged super heros who live in a giat T and fight against crime in an undisclosed city. Theres also this guy named Slade who pops up to bother us once in a while, but we don't really know anything about him yet." Perhaps there is more character development going on, as oposed to Totally Teens where most of the charcterization is based around making them look stupid and funny. Teen Titans is also somewhat more serious, I guess, where almost everything in Totally Teens is pretty unsensical nonsense. For some reason though I'd rather watch Totally Spies over Teen Titans.

I think Totally Spies does have excellent animation, but it's about that plot that mixes me up... Laughing

im with j-syxx on this.its just one of those shows that you just cant help but whatching.but theres one thing that really bothers me,other then the whole plot in general, but that one thing is that they get sent to LOOP like anywhere on the planet.they get sent there through floors, lockers, stages, chairs, beds and pretty much anything esle that you can think of.thats the one thing that i think is incredibly unbelievable.

Is it me, or do i really have disdain for "Animewannabee" series like Teen Titans and Totally Spies? It's like they're trying to lure fans of Anime into tuning in to their shows. (note the sweatdrops and exxagerated expression heads.) Whatever happened to this thing called originality?!? It's not paying homage to Anime, more like "cookie cutter" cartoons. Razz

Nah, it's not my cup of Sake.
