Oh Man I'm stoked for this game! Even though this is gonna eat into my savings for Anime Vegas convention this November, I'm ready to drop $50 for Generations!

I don't want to jinx it, but I dare say Sonic is finally on an upward spiral since Colors.

Unleashed showed glimpses of 3D Sonic going on the right track. Sonic 4 Ep. 1 was mostly a disappointment for those looking to get the Sonic 2/3 physics of past games (I enjoyed it, but I'll admit it had problems). Colors really perfected the Modern Sonic style of gameplay seen in Unleashed and added more of the 2-D sequences in the 2D/3D style hybrid.

Generations just looks great. Honestly, as blasphemous as it might sound, I'm actually anticipating the Modern Sonic stages for the past titles more than the Classic Renditions.

I couldn't agree with this statement more. Honestly, you just embodied everything I was thinking of.
