Strictly speaking, neither is Idolhouse, as they don't require ID to buy in Japan. However, by Western standards they might qualify "hentai" already. |

Is there more sex than Asatte Dance (Dance Till Tomorrow)? Viz managed to publish it in the U.S. as mature readers rather than adults only. |

Well, they are also releasing Asa Made Juugyou as "hentai". As if any ecchi with nudity and/or sexual situation becomes adults-only. When there's much more explicit live action that is still not treated as adults only (some of which are simply left "unrated" as there are no laws requiring it) not to mention Sentai's Qwaser license also not AO, then I really think DMP is being too paranoid.

I can't and won't blame them, as similar titles in Taiwan are also marked as "18+", although we do have Kodomo no Jikan (also 18+ in Taiwan but not so in Japan) which Americans don't dare to publish. On the other hand, we don't have any legally licensed porno video, either animated or live-action. Laws and social acceptances are just different from country to country. |

Well if we would consider a discussion in every case for claiming the title Hentai, I seriously doubt there would be enough space on this forum for that

The description for Takasugi-san's Obento from Baka updates, looks interesting enough.
Takasugi Harumi is a 31 year old man, and even though he has a college degree, he is unable to find a job. One day Miya, Harumi's aunt, a sister-like woman to Harumi, suddenly dies. Harumi had a 12 years old daughter, Kururi, and now that her mother is dead, she has no one to rely on. Harumi has to take care of Kururi now but her heart was kept closed. "Obentou", a lunch box made reasons to get closer to each other. Each lunch box has there feeling, love and there heart in to it. This is a lovable heartful story.. |

Some may already be jaded how these end up. |

Don't think it's going to pull a Bunny Drop on us, the girl's twelve which spoiler[seems to young to try and have her be a legitimate love interest, and to old to pull the loli-card that Bunny Drop did.] But jesus how sad is that that we have to actually worry about it ending like that? |

Thanks for pointing this series out, Sewingrose! I totally missed it when this news was first posted (I tend to skim/skip over DMP announcements since I don't read BL) but it sounds like something I might enjoy. It runs in the same magazine as Twin Spica did... |
