That was a pretty fast acquisition right there. I guess the first 3 season did good for them.

Don't they have the decency to wait till the show is over? Now some [don't be rude -t] subbers will stop subbing it.

Oh noes, that would be a problem........
But we can all wait for professional subs especially since RightStuf implements two TYPES of subs.

..Sigh. On the plus side, I haven't had time to watch this subbed, and they're not waiting four years again. I might actually pick this one up.

Cue the world's tiniest violin.
Anyhow, good news from Right Stuf, and I'm glad they grabbed it so quickly.

You might want to point out why you're unhappy with this. I have a good idea of why, and (if I'm right) it's pretty much one of the only good pro-fansub arguments that apply. Most people however will assume that your unhappiness over this announcement is due some other reasons.
Although this announcement may bother you, it certainly pleases the many fans out there who prefer to watch professionally translated anime on DVD. It means that their preferred method of consumption will be available to them sooner.
It's also good news for the Japanese producers and TRSI since (at least some of) the fansubs will stop now and create less competition for the product. More product sales means more chance of a season 5.
Finally, it means the fansubbers can shift their attention to other projects that may not have a license coming anytime soon.
[Just in case Zirdante doesn't reply, he doesn't live in North America. While it certainly would be possible for him to import this title on DVD, it would be at a premium cost. Whatsmore, any legal internet streams are unlikely to be available outside of North America.
edit: since he's stated it in previous posts: He lives in Finland (I will never disclose information about a forumite that they have not already disclosed in their own posts)]

That was a very fast aquisition. Now if only they could license the novels and manga.

Nozomi doesn't do print publishing. At least not in its history.
I wouldn't expect them to open up an entire new division just for one series.

This is fantastic news, and I look forward to when they start accepting pre-orders so I can get my name down ASAP.
I'd hoped they'd pick up the new season, but I reckon this means they've done well enough on sales so far to justify it. That's good news for all.

Oh. That's disappointing. Hopefully some company will license them in the future.
